Product Description
Ryobi 18V ONE+ System introduces the ultimate power tool collection. The drill is compact and powerful enough to handle any job on your project list. The impact driver features a Tri-Beam LED light system that eliminates shadows on work pieces. The bits are fast and easy to reload and the MagTray is perfect for holding bits and screws for many jobs. JobPlus base with Multi-tool Attachment is the most versatile 18-Volt multi-tool on the market. It accepts accessories from all popular brands using the universal adaptor and also accepts Ridgid JobMax interchangeable tool heads. The Anti-Vibe reciprocating saw reduces user fatigue and the adjustable, pivoting shoe allows depth-of-cut control and more efficient use of blade. The circular saw features the ExactLine laser which automatically activates for improved cutting accuracy. All the tools feature the new and improved GripZone overmold for optimum grip and user comfort. The IntelliPort Technology protects battery cells, maximizes battery life and conserves energy so well it earned an ENERGY STAR logo. The new and improved compact Lithium+ batteries improve performance of Ryobi 18V ONE+ tools up to 15 percent. Compared to the 18V ONE+ Ni-Cd battery they provide 35 percent more runtime, hold a charge 4x longer and are 45 percent lighter. Lithium+ batteries have extreme weather performance to continue work in harsh conditions and an on-board fuel gauge to "Check Your Charge" before the work begins.

This is the perfect tool kit
By Topher Ritchie
This is an amazing little kit. I purchased it one month ago from Amazon for $275, which is on par with what it goes for at The Home Depot, Ryobi's big box outlet. I've used every tool but the reciprocating saw (Sawzall), and loved each one. Here's a rundown of everything that comes in the box:Drill/Driver: The drill has good torque and has powered through everything I've thrown at it, including drilling a 2" deep hole with a 1.5" spade bit, without choking. The chuck has an excellent range; it can hold each bit in my drill kit. Don't expect it to handle wire gauge, though - use a Dremel for that.Impact Driver: This little thing is amazing. I just bought an older home, and my wife discovered (the hard way) that the deck railing was loose, and in some cases no longer connected at all. I pulled out the impact driver and some 3" carpentry screws and went at it. In less than 10 minuted I had the entire deck completely secured, without a single stripped screw head!Circular Saw: I previously owned a Craftsman 14.4v NiCad circular saw. Even when it was new, it could barely handle 20 cuts through 2x4's. This saw just keeps cutting.Oscillating Saw/Multi-tool: This tool comes with the oscillating saw head and the sander head, with one piece of each of the standard grits of sandpaper. I've used this tool for all kinds of jobs, from disassembling cabinets (it cuts through glue, screws, and nails without a problem) to cutting strike plate indents on older door jambs. Both the saw and sander head have performed admirably. The real benefit of this is that the "JobPlus" base is compatible with Ridgid's JobMax tool heads (although owned by different companies, both lines are produced by the same Hong Kong manufacturer), so you can purchase anything from powered ratchet heads to right-angle drill heads to fit on this tool.Reciprocating Saw: As mentioned earlier, I have yet to use this tool. It comes with two saw blades.Multi-Chemistry Charger and Two 18v Lithium Batteries: The charger that comes in the box is the One+ standard, meaning it can charge both the older Ryobi One+ NiCd batteries and the new Lithium batteries. The batteries that come with it are the smaller 18v Lithium batteries, not the newer Lithium+ or the high-capacity batteries. Even so, after all the use I've put this set through, I have yet to have either battery need recharging!Big Green Bag: The big green bag is of acceptable quality and holds all of the tools nicely. It has a wire-reinforced opening that allows it to easily open up to the full size of the bag. Although it won't win any design awards, it's adequate if you just need to through a bunch of the tools together to tote them to a job. I learned the hard way that the poly canvas will rip if you leave a saw blade on a tool, however, so keep that in mind. All in all, this is a great little kit, with most of the tools you'd need to perform any job. I've seen some reviews that say that these tools are slow. Having used them alongside a friend's Milwaukee tools and another friend's Makita's, I can say that the Makita tools were definitely faster, but I actually preferred the speed of my Ryobi tools. When using the Makita driver, I kept stripping out my screw heads, while the Ryobi just powered the screws right in. I'd recommend this kit to anyone, especially at the price I paid for it.

Fast charge, strong performance
By Wit of a Twit
The title say it all. I am remodeling a fixer upper. so far i have not had any trouble. The lights are helpful, and the bag is convenient. It does what i need it to do without issue.Positives:-Light weight(Lithium battery not nickle)-Lights help you see what your doing.-Magnets keep screws handy.-Battery charge hold up pretty well and charges very rapidly.Negative:-The drill can not easily mix a medium quantity of mortar. It over heats and has smoked. I have had to decrease the quantity of mortar I mix at any give time.-Needs more batteries.

This was the BEST deal I found on a good set of tools. I have used them a lot over the last 2 weeks ad everything functions perfectly. They are everything the advertising said, lightweight and powerful. Batteries last a long time and are quick to charge. I love this set!
