This set has more guts for any around the house project than you'll need. I do a lot of house remodeling and renovation, and I can't think of anything that this set won't do. Right now, I'm rebuilding our stairway, and neither tool is even working up a sweat. Using the impact driver for 3" star head screws to mount the 1" oak stair treads. Not a problem. Has all the power I need and the batteries are very long lasting! I was totally impressed right from unpacking the set. These are supposed to be reconditioned. Mine had nary a scratch, and the case was also immaculate! You could not tell them from new. I have several other Porter Cable tools, and I have always been very, very happy with them, and these are also at the top of my list. A great set! You can hardly buy ONE BATTERY of another brand, that I spent on the price of this set!!! How can you beat that deal!!!
