The Porter-Cable PCFP12236 Brad Combo Kit contains: a 6-gal 150 psi compressor (drives more nails than traditional 135 max psi compressor) that weighs only 30lbs, 2.6 SCFM at 90 psi, maintenance-free pump, and 120V electric unit which allows user to run on standard household current. The compressor also has a shroud, handle and console cover which protects vital components / BN200C 18 gauge 2-Inch Brad nailer which uses standard 18 ga. brad nails from 5/8-Inch to 2-Inch long, tool-free depth-of-drive adjustment with detents, tool-free jam release mechanism, and Long-life maintenance-free motor. Combo Kit also includes 25ft of 1/4-Inch air hose with a coupler and plug, and 100 brad nails of 1-1/4-Inch length. 1-year limited warranty on compressor components.

First time user of air compressors...

I don't do anything professional or construction with this compressor, it is just for use around the house. It works great, so far. Bought it at HD for $139 on sale a few months ago. I haven't bought any accessories for it yet, so I have only used the 18g nailer it came with. I have noticed that is not enough - and I need to get at least a 16g, or bigger. Learning about it as I go.

Nailer constanly Jams up

Luv the air compressor but the brad nailer has been awful. It jams up constantly requiring me to constantly undo the brad nailer from the compressor and open up the nail gun to undo the jam , which is usually 1 nail caught in the tip of the nailer. It really holds up my projects. I specifically bought this air compressor for the brad nailer as I have a furniture restoration business and count on finishing a lot of the furniture with trim etc. and again this nailer is not cutting it. I am very disappointed in this product and certainly will not promote or recommend it to friends. Regards, Pat Collier

I figured it out finally

This compressor is great. My challenge was to try to understand why it wasn't holding air pressure. I discovered that you have screw the base valve out, not in, to seal the unit and allow it to hold air. It's counter intuitive. When I sorted that out, it was a dream to use and very consistent. The gun is excellent. I built bookshelves and it was the perfect combination for a bookshelf. My next project is to make a few small end tables out of skids for the back yard. I'm sure this unit will do perfectly.
