Careful Where You Buy From

This is a great product with really, really bad batteries (2 of my 3 have failed and this is typical--Google it) ...If you buy from HOME DEPOT, both batteries and drill have lifetime warranty (PITA to replace, but can do it). When you go to the RIDGID website, you can see the fine print that it has to be from HD.I love Amazon and buy everything from them, but this is not the product to buy from them.

GREAT PRODUCTS...ONCE YOU KNOW HOW TO CHARGE LITHIUM BATTERIES PROPERLY. THEY DON'T LIKE TO BE RUN DOWN COMPLETELY. THEY WANT TO BE CHARGED DAILY.

Great Product / Rigid has made serious progress

I've owned Milwakee Best and Dewalt, this is the best drill I have bought to date! Rigid was a poor product but I think they are really coming out with much better quality. Battery lasts forever, has magnetic tip, a light that actually works and casts on object. Great deal!
