Battery charges fast and holds good charge with the drill, drains fast with the saw. Saw comes with an adequate blade, cut 2x4's effortlessly, 1'' plywood was a little trickier, went through a couple full charges to cut down a full size piece. Drill/screwdriver was suprisingly quiet. Drill is 2 speed, 21 clutch settings, quite effective, countersunk some screwheads without even trying to.Kit came with bag, drill/screwdriver, saw w/ blade, charger and battery, instruction manuals, and allen key for installing blade . Good for around the house, or projects where cordless is needed. I'd recommend buying a 2nd battery if you plan on using the saw a bit. I've done a few projects so far and have never run out of juice with the drill.

I had a 12 volt NiCad cordless drill with a dead battery. The replacement cost for the battery was about $60 so I started to look for an upgrade and found this deal. For around $70 I got an 18 volt Lithium-Ion cordless drill, circular saw, battery, charger and a bag to carry everything in. I did some looking around and Ryobi tools rated very well, so I bought this combo kit. I have been using these every weekend for about 4 months (new house).I couldn't be happier. First the tools and recharger look new and the bag is new (I think). If I was to pick on one thing, it would be that they melted the word "reconditioned" into the plastic on the side of the drill and the saw. It does not hurt anything except maybe my sense of aesthetics.The drill/driver is great, a little heavier than my old one but balanced and easy to handle and it has better battery life than my old NiCad drill. The circular saw was an adventure for me. This is a 5 1/2" saw and I have always used 7" circular saws. After researching those I was pleased to see that the blade provided in the kit is a thin kerf and worked very well. I have used the saw to make several cuts of 4x4 pretreated fir (you have to cut from a couple of sides to reach through but it did the job)as well as 3/4" MDF and 2x4s. You cannot go though the wood as fast as you can with a corded 7" saw but the advantage of walking to job and pressing the go button without cords makes this an easy adjustment for me.

BATTERY INCLUDED TOOLS ARE FULLY WARRANTED AS NEW...I HAVE HAD 2 SETS OF THESE BEFORE...USUALLY GIVE THE TOOLS AWAY..KEEP THE BATTERY AS A NEW BATTERY COST MORE THAN THE TOOLS. GREAT BUY..IF YOU WANT THE TOOLS..AND THE BATTERY.
