LSA through Home Depot ONLY

I agree with the other reviewers that these are great tools. You should be aware that Ridgid is unique in oferring a Lifetime Service Agreement (LSA) which makes Ridgid tools even more attractive. Under the LSA, they will even replace batteries free of charge as long as you own the tools which alone can save hundereds of dollars down the line. HOWEVER, please be aware that you must buy Ridgid tools through Home Depot to be eligible for the LSA. Please consider this before buying Ridgid tools from an Amamzon partner - or any other dealer other than Home Depot.

Great tools!!!!

Ive have three of these kits the x2 x3 and this one x4. This isnt because they wear out cause they all still work great. Just like em so much always want newest one. But as much as i love amazons service you probably want to buy this at home depot. Theyre the ridgid authorized retailer and if you ever need service which the way these are built you probably wont. But just in case it will be easier im sure.

stay on top of registration

Ridgid tools are pretty dependable. I use them professionally. However I have noticed, lately they have not processed the warranty registration properly. After logging into the Ridgid website I noticed the last tools I purchased were denied lifetime warranty even though I sent in all the paperwork for registration.After Ridgid responded to my inquiries they informed me they are several months behind in processing the warranties They are just now working on mid. Nov and it is Feb 28 today. I guess I will see in about a month if I have lifetime service agreement.
