I love using this sander. I make very curvilinear furniture and the control of this sander is terrific. It is a "knock off" of the Makita version. This is half the price of the Makita, but you do give up, I believe, a brushless motor in the makita, and a slightly nicer metal gizmo at the outboard end. If I had more assets, I'd have gone for the Makita, but am perfectly happy with this version.
