Good drill with a light you probably don't need

I bought this to replace an ancient cordless with a dying battery. It cost more to replace the battery than buy a new drill. This model Hitachi received high marks from Consumer Reports and I have other Hitachi tools that I am happy with. This drill is much lighter, easier to use and more powerful than my antique drill and holds a charge much longer. I'd give it five stars but it comes with a light that I don't need and don't use. Hitachi would make me happier if they would sell the drill cheaper without the light.
