By inkmanmac
I purchased the following Rockwell RK1801K2 18-Volt Lithiumtech Cordless Drill and Impact Driver Combo Kit mainly because of the Battery Warranty. Every other Cordless Drill Battery had died within three years of purchase (I am not in construction) this is under normal use. Upon reading the agreement i was instructed to register Battery (within 90 days of purchase) both my regular mail and on line to complete Warranty, it said i would receive confirmation within 6-8 weeks ok no problem thats normal. now almost 90 days later no confirmation code, cannot get hold of anyone at Rockwell either by calling (spent 2 hours on the phone on hold today never actually spoke to a human being)cannot login to their website keep getting a "server error", there isn't even "live support" on their site !! no one is availableI just hope the "life time warranty" wasn't just another scam .............extremely disappointed in their customer service, imagine if there was an issue with the Battery ...I wonder if anyone else has experienced the same issue ???
6 of 7 people found the following review helpful.Best Cordless I've Used
By S. Hagerty
I have used both of the tools in this set numerous times since purchasing it a while back. I used to be a General Contractor and therefore have used many cordless and corded tools. While I cannot speak for their longevity at this point, I can honestly say that these are the best performing cordless drill and impact that I have ever owned. I highly recommend them.

By ted
I have had the combo for about 3 months and have used it plenty. Great balance in your hand. Plenty of of power and torque. Price was very good compared to other brands. Can't beat the replacement battery deal either. Love the color. The carry bag could be a little larger for bit and drill sets. Impact can be used as another drill. Great product, highly recommend it! I have had Dewalt, Black and Decker, Makita, Craftsman, and countless other brands of cordless drills through out the years. They were all heavy, with big batteries, and didn't hold charge long. Most of these cost much more than the Rockwell. I would buy another if mine was lost or stolen.
