The Makita cordless screwgun is a true pleasure to use. It's a well-balanced, lightweight tool that has a nice, smooth clutch action. The lithium-ion battery lasts a long time and the re-charge time is very short. I have tried (I own a DeWalt 18v) other cordless screwguns, and this gun is much better. Well worth the money.

got this guy about two months ago and its managed to impress me. works great for hanging sheets, done everything from fireproofing, ceilings, rooms, piecework with 1/2-5/8" drywall and its handled itself very well. i usually go through two batteries in a day, one fully charged lasts anywhere from half a day to three quarters of the day, depending on usage. charger works great, most of the time it has the batteries charged and ready to go in under 20 minutes. my one complaint is that for some reason the driveshaft (which should only engage and start spinning when pressed down) always spins. this didn't happen at first and i haven't dropped it or abused it a lot (i take care of my tools). it also doesn't drive screws as easily on the tapered edge of the drywall sheets when hanging on steel studs (this doesn't occur on wood framing) i'm still figuring out how to properly drive the screws in on the tapered edge when hanging on steel studs. apart from that its a great screwgun, high torque and drives the screws better than any corded gun i've used before. super quiet, nice and light. i'd definitely recommend it.

This drill is awesome. It's fast, light ergonomic, and very powerful for a cordless. Led light is cool, did I say its powerful, almost like a corded screwgun. Would highly recommend.
