Drill is powerfull and can be very fast on setting 2, but controllable on setting 1. Plenty of power to it, and overall the usual dewalt quality and toughness. The impact driver wasnt exactly what i was expecting but works quite well for some tasks as well. Recently it performed better than my air impact which while it does have more power, does not impact as quickly or turn nearly as quickly. So for some bolts the electric is better, but it doesnt have the same torque a air one does. Also make sure for it to get impact rated adapters, i snapped one of mine by accident, and had to grind it to fit. Batterys are nice, not too heavy and last a good while. Easily enough for a good sized project on one charge, and if not the second battery is available and they recharge with relative speed. Not extremely fast at all, but about what youd expect. Overall great drills, great quality. Oh yeah, and the box they come in is pretty great too, tough, and simple. And has room for drill bits and accesories.

18Volt Nano Impact ,Drill Combo DCK274L

Hello, I am a Electrical Contractor and also do Remodel work. Both these units are 1st class products not only in reliability but performance. We are now changing over to the 18 volt lithium ion, long run series Nano batteries as it is trouble free and runs strong right up to the point of recharge. The technology is a Big step up on the battery and charging side of the previous XLP series and the drill and impact hold up under a lot of abuse . If I were asked if I would purchase this same unit again? It would be a definite Yes!It is well worth the extra cost and will more than pay for it's self on battery life alone.

Cheapest way to convert all of my other dewalt tools to Lithium Ion

I did not need the tools, but needed 2 batterys and wanted lithium ion. These batteries fit the old xrp nickel cadium batteries, and comes with a charger that will charge both. The lithium ion last 10x as long, and are 1/2 the weight. I love all of my new and old tools agian!
