Great Combo Kit

These brushless tools are great. Bought them to replace old DeWalt NiCad drill.They are lightweight and have long battery life. Used impact driver to install 3 1/2" deck screws and it performed flawlessly. Once you drive screws with an impact driver you'll never use a drill again to drive screws. New drill/driver is much more efficient at drilling holes than old drill. I did a lot of research and compared other brands and highly recommend this set. With the longer life Lithium-Ion 2 Ah battery and weight ratio there really isn't any other brand that compares. Another great feature is the LED light - very useful in dark and confined spaces. I was a little concerned about the contractor bag instead of a hard case, but found the bag to be more rugged than I imagined. You won't be sorry if you buy this set.

Wow, what a set of drills

After a whole lot of research, I decided to give a little extra and get the brushless set. VERY impressive. The length of time that you can use these drills before recharging is amazing. I was using them around a construction crew that all had the larger 3.0 amp contractor grade drills and the were impressed with the power and lighter weight. I would strongly recommend these drills.

Simple the best tools

Amazing tools 100% I recommend love battery last long the impact is just the best If you are looking for a good powerful drill, this will do the job. if you are needing to drill a multitude of holes with spade bits or auger bits this is not the drill for you. for that i would look into the dcd985 which I also own. This is a great drill for pilot drilling, driving screws, finish work that requires control. overall its a great "compact" drill.
